For Europe trade, recently we found some empty equipments returned with bad odour at destination, we tried to collect related cleaning cost from the cnee but no success since there were several disputes ongoing. Hence, in order to prevent such disputes in future, we would like to request the shipper to provide Letter of Guarantee for bearing possible cleaning cost at destination for below commodities that may cause bad odour. If the empty equipment is returned to NYK with bad odour at destination, we will have to collect related cleaning cost from the shipper if the cnee refuses to pay.
Please kindly send us the above mentioned Letter of Guarantee along with EDI or shipping order, thanks for your kind understanding and cooperation.
